MY Story
Hi, I’m Ashley — the traveler behind LadyBourdain.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been the one planning the trips. I love the process of discovering a destination, researching the best experiences, finding incredible restaurants, and mapping out the details that turn a trip into something truly special.
After an unexpected layoff from my corporate career of 22 years, I decided to take that passion and turn it into something meaningful: creating joy-filled travel experiences that bring people together.
My favorite way to travel has always been in small groups — where like-minded people meet as strangers but often leave as friends. There’s something powerful about exploring a new place together, sharing meals, pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, and seeing the world through new perspectives.
Those experiences have changed me for the better, and LadyBourdain was created to share that bit of magic with others.
Photography has also been a passion of mine since I was young. Capturing moments — the light, the landscape, the people, the food, the joy of a place — has always been part of how I experience travel. Because of that, I’m happy to include photography during each day of our small-group journeys so you return home not only with incredible memories, but with beautiful images that capture the experience.
